A practical method
An order journey
An order-journey map with product evidence, customer disclosures, handoff owners and unresolved recovery questions. Work through the prompts in your own notes. No information is submitted or saved here.
Before the basket
Record the authoritative product facts, stock source, allowed variants and disclosure owner. Test an unavailable or contradictory variant on paper.
At checkout
Write what the buyer must see before committing: total, delivery, returns, seller identity and consent. Leave prices and tax rules unresolved until current sources are reviewed.
After confirmation
Specify who receives the order, how a duplicate is detected and what confirmation would be sent. A simulated confirmation is not a shipment.
When it fails
Trace payment failure, out-of-stock, wrong variant and lost delivery. Give each an owner, customer message and refund or correction question.
At exit
Ask how returns, records, consent withdrawal and deletion requests are handled. Have an operator and qualified reviewers approve the final terms.
Record the outcome
- What is the proposed next step, and who owns it?
- What evidence supports it, and what remains unknown?
- What would make you pause or change direction?
- When will the decision be reviewed?
Keep private details in your own records. This is a reading guide, not a submission form.
